Interactive Animation with RIVE
This interactive animation was built and animated with Rive, a software tool designed to turn animation into a code based output. These animations can be embedded into websites or apps, and is displayed in browser with minimal load times. Interactive content like this is intended to engage users by inviting them to interact with content, play and explore!
Concept
The concept behind this holiday studio project was to create a fun, holiday themed interactive animation and stationary items to gift to our clients and friends. Every year our studio brainstorms a new concept for a fully custom concept.
Our concept this year has two modes - a playful and a design-y mode, a perfect example of Blackbox's abilities to produce work that can be very fun and character based, or design driven and contemporary.
Our team prides itself on diverse skills and strong adaptability to different styles, applications and strategy.
Design
For this project we decided to pair a character based design and a contemporary composition. We created a custom card, sticker sheet and a coaster that our clients can keep and use for a long time.
The two stacks match. The design-y has 5 shapes that reflect the shapes of the character based design.
